UNSA Joins Candlight as they celebrate Memorial Day

Over the years, Uganda has made a lot of progress in curbing down the HIV / AIDs prevalence in the country.

The International candlight memorial is one of the oldest and largest grass root mobilization campaigns for HIV awareness to the world

Earlier on today, the Uganda National Students Association [ UNSA ] has joined the rest of the world to commemorate the this initiative in conjunction with Uganda Aids commission

Unsa mobilized a number of students from different schools in Bukeddea district to be part of this arrangement

"Together as the students wing, together as a country, we can increase HIV awareness and together we can fight it" UNSA president.

This national commemoration of candlight memorial is happening today in Bukeddea district, at Emokori grounds in Bukeddea town council under the theme.

Ending HIV stigma and discrimination is Our collective responsibility.
